The International Seminar of Relational Sociology

The international seminar Relational Reason, Morals and Sociality will take place on 4–5 April 2019 in the University of Warsaw Library. This event belongs to the seminar series The Relational Turn in Sociology. Implications for the Study of Society, Culture and Persons, initiated in 2016.
The seminar will include four thematic sessions:

  1. Relational Goods: Their Generation and Social Impacts
  2. Good Life in the Relational Perspective
  3. Sociality, Reciprocity and Morality
  4. Relational Reason and After-Modern Society

This seminar gathers researchers interested in the innovative potential of the new relational perspective and in reflection on the relational foundations of society and culture. Relational sociology draws attention to the non-instrumental and non-utilitarian dimensions of sociality.

Międzynarodowe seminarium socjologii relacyjnej

W dniach 4-5 kwietnia 2019 r. w Bibliotece Uniwersyteckiej w Warszawie odbędzie się międzynarodowe seminarium Relational Reason, Morals and Sociality. Jest to kolejne seminarium w cyklu zainicjowanym w 2016 r. The Relational Turn in Sociology. Implications for the Study of Society, Culture and Persons.
Przewidziane są cztery sesje tematyczne:

  1. Relational Goods: Their Generation and Social Impacts
  2. Good Life in the Relational Perspective
  3. Sociality, Reciprocity and Morality
  4. Relational Reason and After-Modern Society

Seminarium gromadzi badaczy zainteresowanych innowacyjnym potencjałem nowej perspektywy relacyjnej oraz refleksją nad relacyjnymi podstawami społeczeństwa i kultury. Relacyjna socjologia kieruje uwagę na nieinstrumentalne i nieutylitarne wymiary uspołecznienia.
